As i told you already in previous article, i am trying to write few articles on the blogging tips, but you don't worry excel lovers i will not forget to write few excel tips too for you. So here i am with another great topic of excel. Today we are going to discuss about Excel file or worksheet sharing option. While working on Excel, some time we think if more then one people can work on a single or same excel file or worksheet. If we will able to do this believe me its helps allot. So today We will cover this topic.

If more then one person work on any excel file there is not any way to track updates/ mistakes made by which person. Suppose that you and your colleague are working on a same file and your colleague made a mistake and refuge to accept that, what will you do? Let me tell me you do nothing because you don't have proper proof to prove him guilty. Go through this article and its guaranteed you will be not disappointed.

How To Make Shared Excel File And Allow To Edit By Multiple Users?

Please follow the all the steps care-fully.

Step 1. Open any Excel File, Click on File tab, then click Options tab. In the Excel Options Dialogue box, click Trust center, and then click the Trust Center Settings Button. In the Privacy Options category, clear the Check Box next to the option "Remove Personal Information From The File Properties On Save".  Then close the dialogue box and click OK. See Image below:-

Step 2 . Now Click on Review Tab under the menu bar, Then click on Share Workbook under the Changes area. In the Share Workbook dialogue box, click on Editing menu and then click the check box before "Allow changes by more than one user at the same time. This also allows workbook merging."

A massage box for confirmation massage "This Action will now save the workbook. Do you want to continue". Click Ok to make the changes.

Now put the file on file server or shared location and share file location with users. Now multiple user can access the file and makes changes into this at the same time. Changes will visible after saving the file.

How to track edits or updates or mistakes made by which user or colleague?

Tracking is very simple of in this file.  Do this, Click on Review Tab under the menu bar, Then click on Share Workbook under the Changes area. In the Share Workbook dialogue box click on Advanced menu and then click the Radio Button before very first option (Keep changes history for) . You can also set number of days for history tracking.  Click OK to save. Now you are all set to share and edit with multiple users.

I assume that you have Imported cookies in your Mozilla Browser now Please follow these simple steps to get it done in Mobile or Android or IOS:-

The idea behind this my friend is very simple, you need to just sync computer browser with your android browser. Follow these steps to get this done:-

Step 1. Open Mozilla Firefox browser in Computer. Click Left Side three horizontal lines see below images.

 


Step 2. Click Don't have an account? Get started.

Step 3. Fill the appeared form and Click Create Account. After verify your account by visit your email inbox.

After this you just need to install Latest Version of Mozilla Firefox Android Application or IOS Application according to your mobile device.

Step 4. Open Mozilla Firefox browser application in your mobile device. Click Up and left side three vertical dots (.), Click Settings.
Step 5. Click first option Sign in. Sign In using your Account you created on Mozilla web Browser. Then refresh the page. See below image for the step.

After refreshing the page you have done with setup or install or import cookies in Mobile or  Android. Please click here to visit any random website and check, you will be able to see similar ads as you web browser.

Here we are going to discuss about how to import cookies in MoZilla Firefox Browser ?

Please follow the below mentioned steps for this:-

Step 1. Install MoZilla Firefox Version 48.2 or 49.0

Step 2. After installing MoZilla's Required version please update setting as shown in picture below. This will disable Auto update feature and its important.

Step 3. Now search click here to search Cookies Importer Addon from Firefox Addons library. After adding and enabling this Addon please restart the browser. See image below:-

Step 4. Now Click on Tools from menu bar, you will be able to see 2 new options Import Cookies & Export Cookies. 

Now you need a cookies file, You can  Download High CPC Cookies file by clicking click here 

This cookies file contains best quality cookies like mcaffe, silver, bluewolf, veeam etc.

Step 5. Now Click on Import Cookies, Browse your Cookies file which you have downloaded from above link, Select file, click on upload. In few seconds your cookies file will be uploaded in your browser.

Restart the Browser again you will be able to see the changes when you visit any websites.

How to Export Cookies?

In daily busy lifestyle, we use to travel quite regularly. Whenever we change our computer system, we faces few problem. Biggest problem we face is we are unable to use our cookies in browser. But after reading this article you will be able to use your cookies file from anywhere. To access your cookies in your browser you can use these two methods. (1. You can sync a email account with your browser, or 2. Export your Cookies, History and Bookmarks in a text file.)

Syncing a email account is not a preferred method as there are millions of malware around the web. I usually prefer to use 2nd method. And i am telling you about 2nd method in this article. So lets start.

I am assuming that you have read and understood the method installation the export and import cookies Addon in Mozilla Browser. One you installed this Addon you will be able to see Export Cookies option below the Import Cookies. To export cookies, history and bookmarks please Follow the instructions below:-

Step 1. Click Tools in menu bar, then click Export Cookies. A window to Save as will appear. 

Step 2. Browse destination, Type Cookies File name and click save. Your cookies will be exported and saved as text file at your preferred location.

Now you and use this file by importing in browser from anywhere. Its better to save this file on cloud, Google drive or One drive. Now onward don'd worry about these and travel happily. You can also share your cookies to your friends as email attachment.

Complete Guide About Vlookup - Syntax, Uses, Limitations and Examples

If you are working on Microsoft excel on huge data in you office, school or collage you must know the USES OF VLOOKUP. When we talk about data lookups, Vlookup is a initial part of the same. Please go through the full article for your better understanding. Must watch the video also.

Syntax of Vlookup formula

Before Using any excel formula/functions we need to know about the syntax of formula/function. Lets discuss in details syntax of vlookup. 

Vlookup Syntax

I have attached a image above to describe the syntax of vlookup. Vlookup function have total for objects. Lookup_value, table array, Col_index_num, range_lookup. lets discuss in brief about these.

1. lookup_value - Lookup value the object which use to lookup the data. It is the common values of both the data-sets. This object is the reference.
2. table array -   In function table array is a table from we are going to get the data.
3. col_index_num -  col_index_num is short form of column index number. this object uses for identify the required data column with the reference of lookup_value from the table_array.
4. range_lookup - Range lookup objects uses to get exact match or approximate match of data which we are getting from function. Its always be 0.

Uses of Vlookup Formula

vlookup excel function is a very useful Microsoft Excel function/formula. If you are working with data you must know about this formula/function. Vlookup basically uses for finding missing details behalf of few given details. in below picture its clearly visible that we have 2 data sets data1 and data2 for sales data for a company xyz inc. In data1 we have four columns (Employee ID, Months, Days, Sales), and second data set we have three columns (Employee ID, Expenses, Sales). But Sales column's data is missing from data2  and we need to fill sales data for given Employee IDs. In this situation we have Employee ID in common so we can use vlookup in this situation.

Limitations Of Vlookup Function/Formula

Now we know about the uses of vlookup, its time to discuss the limitation of this function. You cannot use vlookup in every case. for the using this function your data must full the requirements for vlookup function. in certain cases you cannot use the vlookup function for lookup requirements. These are few limitations of vlookup formula.

1. Your both data-sets must have a common column. (like Employee id, see the image 1).
2. With v lookup you can only find data Left to right. In simple words if Employee Id column will be moved next to Sales column in data1, vlookup will not work.
3. No duplicates entries in the common column. If there is any duplicate entry will found , result will only for the first entry. (If In Employee Id column first employee id 80917 is twice in the column and it is also in the fifth column (in place of 80913). And when we use vlookup formula will return 4214 in first and fifth column also instead of 5803.

Now we knows about syntax of vlookup, Uses of vlookup and limitations of we lookup. Now we are ready to use this function. Read below for Examples of Vlookup formula

Examples of Vlookup Function/Formula

In below picture its clearly visible that we have 2 data sets data1 and data2 for sales data for a company xyz inc. In data1 we have four columns (Employee ID, Months, Days, Sales), and second data set we have three columns (Employee ID, Expenses, Sales). But Sales column's data is missing from data2 and we need to fill sales data for given Employee IDs. In this situation we have Employee ID in common so we can use vlookup in this situation.

Vlookup Example

lets get the data from using vlookup. 

I am creating few cases here to understand vlookup. See below the all cases. We will discuss all the case separately in details.

Case 1. As mentioned in above image (Vlookup Example) we are going to get sales data.

In this case lookup_value will be Employee ID,
table_array will be whole data1 table,
col_index_number will be 4. (count column of data1 start from Employee id as 1, Months will be 2, Days will be 3 and Sales column number will be 4)

Case 2. We are going to get Months column data.

in this case lookup_value will be the same Employee ID,
table_array will be also same, whole data1 table,
col_index_number will be 2 (count column of data1 start from Employee id as 1, Months will be 2, Days will be 3 and Sales column number will be 4)

Then formula will be as shown in below mentioned picture:-
